Yahoo! Geocities PageBuilder
To add the WebRing NavBar to your Yahoo! Geocities page, follow the written tutorial provided below:
First, you need to get the NavBar code…
- Click on the My Account button in the top menu to open your account page.
- Click on the URLs tab and locate the address for your blog.
- Click “Get Navigation Code” in the Member Tools found in the left links.
- Click on "Get SSNB Code" found to the right of your blog's URL. This will open a new page with the SSNB Code.
- Copy (CTRL + C)all of the code contained within the text block.
Now, you're ready to add the NavBar to your Yahoo! Geocities page…
- Log in to PageBuilder.
- Open the page you wish to add the NavBar to. (We recommend adding the code to the most content rich and relevant page of your Geocities site.)
- Click "Insert," then "HTML/Script" from the top PageBuilder menu. A pop-up window will open.
- Paste (CTRL + V) the WebRing SSNB code into the main (biggest) text field. (You can provide a title if you want, but it's not required.)
- Click the "Save" button. You should now see a colored block, not the actual NavBar.
- Move the colored block to where you want the NavBar to appear on your page.
- Save the page, then preview the changes.
That’s it! If you have successfully added the WebRing NavBar, you will see something similar to this:
Powered by WebRing®.
If you haven't already, you’re now ready to join some WebRing Communities.
